Established in memory of esteemed coach Lloyd Cowan, the bursary supports the next generation of athletes, honoring Cowan’s legacy of guiding athletes like Christine Ohuruogu to Olympic gold and Andy Turner to Commonwealth titles.
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund:
The Ron Pickering Memorial Fund supports talented young athletes aged 15-23 with financial grants. Founded in memory of Ron Pickering OBE, a revered coach and commentator, the charity assists athletes in their development, providing funds for equipment, coaching, and travel. It also supports athletic clubs and Schools Athletics Associations, promoting the ethics of sport and the benefits of athletics.
